The units that make up this NVQ
cover general health and safety, safe manual handing, communication as well as
3 optional trade specific units from the following 5: 'Installing First Fixing Components in the Workplace' 'Installing Second Fixing Components in the Workplace' 'Maintaining Non-structural Carpentry in the Workplace' 'Setting up and using Transportable Cutting and Shaping Machines in the
Workplace' 'Erecting Structural Carcassing Components in the Workplace'
The assessor will support you through the process and agree a range of assessment methods with you,
observation, video-clips, discussion, photographic evidence, reports and references and any
other documentary evidence you can provide.
Where there are gaps in experience or knowledge the assessor will
support you with training.
On completion of the Site Carpentry NVQ Diploma Level 2 course you will be eligible to apply to CSCS for
theblue CSCS skills card. (application for the red temporary experienced CSCS card is possible following registration)
